It has been observed that in several cases there are more girls born than boys in a household. Even after five, six, seven girls a boy is not born. If one wishes for a baby boy, once a woman is pregnant she should recite YA AWWALU 40 times daily and blow on her stomach for the first three months. Insha Allah one's hope will be fulfilled.
After the birth of a boy he should be named with a name of Allah, for example, Abdullah, Abdul-Awwal, Abdul-Ghafar etc.
